Everything you love about Seraphic Fire at Christmas in a new experience: timeless carols – The First Noel, Joy to the World, Silent Night – and a reading of the famed 1823 American poem, A Visit from St. Nicholas— better known as “’Twas the night before Christmas”— that helped shape modern Christmas traditions worldwide. The pure-toned voices of Seraphic Fire take you on a 75-minute journey through America’s folk music roots. We’ll also sing Ingram Marshall’s Hymnodic Delays, perhaps Seraphic Fire’s most requested piece, based on 18th century American folk hymns.
