POSITION SUMMARY

This key position is responsible for driving ticket sales, increasing audience engagement, and enhancing brand visibility to support Seraphic Fire’s mission. Based in Miami, Seraphic Fire is a GRAMMY®-nominated professional vocal ensemble seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as Director of Sales and Marketing. By overseeing innovative marketing strategies, box office operations, and audience development initiatives, the Director will play a vital role in shaping the organization’s future. They will also collaborate with the Executive Director and Development Manager to align marketing efforts with fundraising goals.

Box Office and Patron Services Associate

Reports to:  Director of Advancement
Classification: Part-time, Non-Exempt
Start date: February 1, 2025
Salary: $20-24/hour, commensurate with experience 10-20 hours per week, some evening and weekend shifts required

Seraphic Fire, South Florida’s twice GRAMMY®-nominated professional vocal ensemble, seeks an organized, customer-focused individual to oversee box office operations and patron services. This role is integral to providing exceptional audience experiences and supporting Seraphic Fire’s goal of enriching our community through world-class performances and educational programs.


Auditions

Local Seraphic Fire auditions will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Florida International University.

Please email Auditions@SeraphicFire.org with the subject line "Local Live Audition Submission" with the required materials detailed below. All submissions will be considered until February 10th. Those selected for an audition will receive email confirmation of a time and location.

Singers interested in performing with Seraphic Fire should possess ample solo and ensemble experience, excellent musicianship skills, familiarity with Baroque and Renaissance vocal styles, and a desire to sing at the highest level of vocal ensemble performance.

Seraphic Fire contracts singers on a per-program basis, and these differ from season to season. Seraphic Fire provides singers a professional fee based on services, round-trip domestic airfare, in-town housing and transportation, and a per diem.

Interested singers should submit the following:

  • A current resume or curriculum vitae
  • Two references including phone numbers and e-mail addresses
  • Audio recordings including two solo vocal works in contrasting styles and languages, one of which should be a Baroque aria

Note: Submitted materials should be labeled with the musician’s name and voice part. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis as they are received.
