Lauded by Gramophone for its “mellifluous, crystalline artistry,” and called “one of the best excuses for living in Miami” by el Nuevo Herald, Seraphic Fire has gained an international reputation for dynamic, cutting-edge, and historically informed programming that encompasses both secular and sacred literature.
The ensemble’s roster is populated by performers, teachers, and scholars who represent the best of the American school of vocal and instrumental training. Seraphic Fire is led by its founder, Patrick Dupre Quigley.

The pure-toned voices of Seraphic Fire take you on a 75-minute journey through America’s folk music roots. We’ll also sing Ingram Marshall’s Hymnodic Delays, perhaps Seraphic Fire’s most requested piece, based on 18th century American folk hymns.
