Voting for the 2026 Miami Herald Miami-Dade Favorites ends this Friday, September 4 at 5:00 PM ET, and Seraphic Fire needs your help to bring home the Gold Award once again.
Last year, our community did something extraordinary. You voted Seraphic Fire the 2025 Miami-Dade Favorites Gold Award winner for Favorite Nonprofit, an honor that celebrated not only our music, but the thousands of students, audience members, artists, educators, and families touched by our mission each year.
Now, we have just a few days left to defend our title.
You can vote once every day through Friday at 5:00 PM. If Seraphic Fire has meant something to you, we hope you'll take a moment to vote for us as Favorite Nonprofit.
Why Your Vote Matters
Seraphic Fire is Florida's only GRAMMY-nominated professional choir and a 2025 Miami Herald Miami-Dade Favorites Gold Award winner, but what happens beyond the concert stage is just as important to who we are.
Through our education programs, thousands of young people experience professional choral music each year. Students sing alongside Seraphic Fire artists, participate in workshops and school programs, attend live performances, and receive advanced training through programs including the High School Professional Choral Institute and Ensemble Artist Program.
On stage, Seraphic Fire continues to bring world-class professional choral music to communities across South Florida. Last season, we welcomed nearly 1,000 first-time patrons, increased ticket sales revenue by 36 percent, grew subscriber households by 33 percent, and doubled our audience in Naples.
Those numbers tell us something important: more people are discovering Seraphic Fire.
Winning another Miami Herald Gold Award would help even more people discover the music, education, and community behind our organization.
