Help Seraphic Fire Defend Its Miami Herald Gold Award

A gold seal featuring text that reads "2025 Winner Miami Herald Miami-Dade Favorites."

One year ago, you gave Seraphic Fire an incredible honor.

Readers of the Miami Herald voted Seraphic Fire the 2025 Miami-Dade Favorites Gold Award winner for Favorite Nonprofit, recognizing our organization among more than 10,000 nonprofits throughout Miami-Dade County. For our artists, Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, and supporters, it was one of the proudest moments in our history.

Today, voting is open once again, and we would be honored to earn your support as we seek to defend that title.

Awards like this represent much more than recognition. They celebrate organizations that strengthen our community, enrich lives, and bring people together. For Seraphic Fire, they also shine a spotlight on the importance of world-class choral music and arts education throughout South Florida.

Every vote sends a powerful message that the arts matter. And because you can vote once each day throughout the contest, every vote makes an even bigger difference.

A Year Worth Celebrating

The past year has been one of the most exciting and successful in Seraphic Fire's history.

Together, we welcomed nearly 1,000 first-time patrons, achieved a 36% increase in ticket sales revenue, and grew our subscriber households by 33% compared to the previous season. Our audience in Naples doubled, introducing hundreds of new listeners to the Seraphic Fire experience.

We also completed our 23rd concert season with a balanced budget for the second consecutive year, continuing to strengthen the organization's financial foundation while investing in our artists, audiences, and education programs.

This year also marked an important transition in Seraphic Fire's history. After 24 extraordinary seasons, Founder Patrick Dupre Quigley concluded his tenure as Artistic Director and now serves as Founder and Artistic Director Laureate, remaining an important part of the organization he built. At the same time, GRAMMY Award-winning conductor Dr. James K. Bass officially began his tenure as Artistic Director, leading Seraphic Fire into an exciting new chapter while honoring the artistic excellence that audiences have come to expect.

None of these milestones would have been possible without you.

More Than Concerts

While audiences know Seraphic Fire for unforgettable performances, our mission extends far beyond the concert stage.

Each year, our education initiatives serve thousands of students through school residencies, classroom workshops, student concerts, the Ensemble Artist Program, and the High School Professional Choral Institute. These experiences introduce young people to professional choral music, build confidence, encourage creativity, and inspire the next generation of musicians and arts leaders.

That commitment to our community is one of the reasons being recognized as Miami-Dade's Favorite Nonprofit means so much to us.

Help Us Bring Home Another Gold Award

If Seraphic Fire has inspired you through a performance, enriched your child's education, introduced you to the beauty of live classical music, or simply become part of your life, we hope you'll consider voting for us once again as the Miami Herald's Favorite Nonprofit.

Every vote helps raise the visibility of arts organizations across South Florida. It reminds our community that music, education, and culture matter, and it introduces new audiences to Seraphic Fire's mission.

Thank you for believing in our mission, supporting our artists, and standing behind Florida's only GRAMMY-nominated professional choir.

Voting is now open and continues through Friday, September 4. Better yet, you can vote once each day. If Seraphic Fire has earned your support, we hope you'll cast your vote for us as Miami-Dade's Favorite Nonprofit and help us bring home another Gold Award.

And if you're planning to join us for Season 24, single tickets are now on sale. Visit SeraphicFire.org or call our friendly and helpful staff at 305.285.9060. They'll be happy to answer your questions and help you find the perfect concert.
