If you've attended a Seraphic Fire concert, you may have noticed something unusual.
Unlike many performing arts organizations that present every concert in a single venue or city, Seraphic Fire brings the same world-class performances to audiences throughout South Florida. During the season, you'll find us in Miami, Coral Gables, Palmetto Bay, Ft. Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and Naples.
People often ask why.
The answer is simple: we believe extraordinary music should be accessible to more communities, not fewer.
World-Class Music, Close to Home
South Florida stretches for hundreds of miles, and every community has its own unique character.
Rather than asking audiences to travel long distances for every performance, Seraphic Fire brings professional choral music directly to them.
Whether you live in Naples, Boca Raton, Ft. Lauderdale, Coral Gables, Palmetto Bay, or Miami, our goal is the same: to make it possible for audiences to experience one of the country's leading vocal ensembles without leaving their own community.
That's one of the reasons our audiences continue to grow across the region.
Every Venue Has Its Own Personality
No two Seraphic Fire concerts sound exactly alike.
While the repertoire remains the same throughout a concert series, each venue brings its own unique acoustic, architecture, and atmosphere.
The soaring resonance of a historic church in Coral Gables creates a different listening experience than the intimate warmth of a performance in Naples. Every space shapes the music in its own way, making each performance feel distinctive.
It's one of the reasons many of our patrons choose to attend the same program in more than one city.
A Community in Every City
Over nearly 24 years, Seraphic Fire has built relationships throughout South Florida.
Many of our audience members have been attending concerts for years. Others discovered us for the very first time this past season. In fact, we welcomed nearly 1,000 first-time patrons during the 2025-2026 season, while our Naples audience doubled compared to the previous year.
Whether someone joins us for the first time or has attended dozens of performances, they become part of a community that shares a love of extraordinary music.
That sense of connection is one of the reasons audiences return season after season.
More Than Concerts
As the Miami Herald's 2025 Miami-Dade Favorite Nonprofit, Seraphic Fire's work extends well beyond the concert stage.
Our education programs reach thousands of students each year through school residencies, workshops, education concerts, mentorship opportunities, the Ensemble Artist Program, and the High School Professional Choral Institute.
Performing throughout South Florida allows us to strengthen those community connections while introducing new audiences to the power of live choral music.
Our mission is not simply to perform concerts. It is to enrich communities through music.
We Look Forward to Welcoming You
As Seraphic Fire begins its 24th season under new Artistic Director and GRAMMY Award-winning conductor Dr. James K. Bass, we remain committed to serving audiences throughout South Florida with the same artistic excellence that has defined the organization for nearly a quarter century.
Whether you're joining us in Miami, Coral Gables, Palmetto Bay, Ft. Lauderdale, Boca Raton, or Naples, you'll experience the same nationally recognized artists, thoughtfully curated programs, and unforgettable performances that have made Seraphic Fire one of the country's leading professional vocal ensembles.
