A Community Win for the Arts
Seraphic Fire is honored to share that we have been voted the 2025 Miami-Dade Favorites Winner for Favorite Nonprofit in the annual contest presented by the Miami Herald. This community-driven recognition places Seraphic Fire at the top of more than 10,000 nonprofit organizations across Miami-Dade County. Being selected as Miami-Dade’s Favorite Nonprofit is a meaningful affirmation of the role that live classical music and arts education play in the cultural life of South Florida. It reflects our community's belief in world-class choral music, accessible arts education, and the lasting value of creative experiences that bring people together.

Why Seraphic Fire Was Chosen
Seraphic Fire is Florida’s only GRAMMY-nominated professional vocal ensemble and is widely recognized as one of the best choirs in Miami. Each season, the ensemble presents extraordinary performances of choral music ranging from early masterworks to contemporary compositions, appearing in venues across Coral Gables, Ft. Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Miami, and Naples. These concerts create powerful shared moments that stay with audiences long after the final note.
Beyond the stage, Seraphic Fire’s education programs reach more than four thousand Miami-Dade students each year. This work includes weekly instruction at eight Title I elementary schools, masterclasses for advanced high school students, and a landmark education concert at the Adrienne Arsht Center, which welcomed nearly 2,000 students and families. For many young people, these programs offer their first opportunity to experience live professional music and to see what is possible through discipline, creativity, and collaboration. This combination of artistic excellence and profound community impact is at the heart of why Seraphic Fire was named Miami-Dade’s Favorite Nonprofit.
