A National Reputation, Rooted in South Florida
Founded in 2002 and based in Miami, Seraphic Fire has grown into one of the country’s premier professional choirs. Our concerts take place throughout South Florida, including Church of the Little Flower in Coral Gables, St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Miami, St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Coral Gables, Miami Beach Community Church, and the Dennis C. Moss Cultural Arts Center in Cutler Bay. These are the places where our friends, neighbors, and supporters gather, creating concert experiences that feel both personal and deeply connected to the communities we serve.
While Seraphic Fire’s heart is here in Miami, our reputation is national. We’ve been featured on public radio, invited to perform across the country, and praised by The New York Times. Programming That Reflects Our City
Seraphic Fire’s concerts are created for South Florida’s audiences. Our 2025–26 season features a wide variety of musical experiences that speak to our region’s diversity and cultural richness. From the all-Bach “Motets” concert to our beloved December holiday program, and from soul-stirring gospel to serene candlelight performances, we offer something for everyone.
We perform not only in Miami, but also in Coral Gables, Cutler Bay, Ft. Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and Naples, reaching audiences throughout the state. Still, Miami is our home. Every performance we give here carries the full weight of our identity and our artistic mission.
A Commitment to Education
Seraphic Fire is more than a concert experience. We believe in nurturing the next generation of musicians through meaningful education and mentorship. Our Seraphic Fire Youth Initiative reaches thousands of students across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Collier Counties through in-school workshops, choral residencies, and free student concerts.
We partner with institutions like the University of Miami Frost School of Music and UCLA’s Herb Alpert School of Music to support student conductors and emerging professional singers through our Ensemble Artist Program. These programs ensure that our impact extends far beyond the stage.
