Patrick Kilbride

Praised for his “beautiful,” “luminous” tone, and “superbly acted” portrayals, Patrick Kilbride enjoys an international career. Following his win at the 24th International Concours de Chant in France, he has performed in productions with Le Banquet Céleste (Rennes, Clermont-Ferrand, Chaise-Dieu, Avignon), Britten-Pears Aldeburgh Festival, and Festival Aix-en-Provence (Aix-en-Provence, Versailles, Saint-Denis, Luxembourg). He recently debuted with the Opéra National du Rhin in Strasbourg, France in their critically acclaimed, new production of Monteverdi’s L’Incoronazione di Poppea (Evgeny Titov/Raphaël Pichon). In the US, Patrick enjoys collaborations on major stages with Opera Lafayette, Boston Early Music Festival, Annapolis Opera, and concert organizations across the country, including Washington Bach Consort, American Bach Soloists, and Seraphic Fire. He holds degrees from Northwestern University and the University of Maryland Opera Studio, with fellowships from L’Académie du Festival Aix-en-Provence, Aspen Music Festival, and Tanglewood Music Center.
