American soprano Molly Quinn continues to delight audiences on both sides of the Atlantic with a “a voice that blooms like ink in clear water” (Cleveland Classical Review). In North America she has appeared with The Choir of Trinity Wall Street, Clarion Music Society, The Knights NYC, Portland Baroque Orchestra, Apollo’s Fire, The Bang on a Can All-Stars, Pacific Baroque Orchestra, Bach Collegium San Diego, TENET, and Seraphic Fire. In the UK she has appeared with Arcangelo,The Engilsh Concert, Ora Singers, London Voices, and The Voces8 Foundation choir.
Career highlights include singing back-up vocals for the Rolling Stones, the international tour of Julia Wolfe’s Steel Hammer, the national tour of Dido and Aeneas/Measure for Measure alongside Sir Derek Jacoby, and working with the American stage director Peter Sellars. Her discography includes Trinity Wall Street’s Grammy-nominated recording of Handel’s Israel in Egypt, and recordings with Acronym Ensemble, Seraphic Fire, Clarion Music Society, Antioch Ensemble, and TENET NYC. A native of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, she currently resides in Cambridge in the United Kingdom.
