Megan Riccio, D.M.A., is a French horn player and music educator based in Miami, FL. A native of Foxborough, Massachusetts, Ms. Riccio earned Bachelor of Music degrees in Horn Performance and Music Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She also has a Master of Music degree from the Longy School of Music. She completed her Doctoral of Musical Arts degree in May 2023 at the University of Miami where she served as the Graduate Teaching Assistant in Chamber Music. Ms. Riccio has been an active freelancer and music educator for the last fifteen years in Boston and South Florida. She performs in all types of ensembles including symphony orchestra, opera orchestra, musical theatre orchestra, jazz ensembles, and chamber music and maintains a private horn studio. Ms. Riccio is currently the Managing Director of the Henry Mancini Institute at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami.
