Jafet Díaz Martin is a versatile Panamanian trumpet player, teacher, and arranger based in Boca Raton, Florida pursuing a master's degree in music performance at Lynn Conservatory of Music. He was a trumpet player with the Municipal Symphonic Band of Panama and Molas Brass Quintet. Jafet has participated with the National Symphony Orchestra of Panama and the Atlantic Classical Orchestra and has performed at the Panama Jazz Festival. In 2023, he won first prize in the NSAL Piano and Brass Duo Competition and was a finalist in the 2020 Next Generation Trumpet Competition. This past summer, Jafet attended the Colorado College Summer Music Festival and has previously participated in festivals in Costa Rica, Colombia, and Panama. He attended the University of Panama for his Bachelor of Music in trumpet performance.
