5th Season with Seraphic Fire

Hailed by South Florida Classical Review as an “opulent soprano” exhibiting “rich tones, expressive phrasing,” and a “soaring top range,” Elisse Albian enjoys performing oratorio, opera, choral works, and everything in between. Most recently, Elisse achieved first place at the Oratorio Society of New York’s prestigious Lyndon Woodside Oratorio-Solo Competition at Carnegie Hall. They perform regularly with distinguished ensembles including Seraphic Fire, Voices of Ascension, The Choir of Trinity Wall Street, Musica Sacra, and The Benedict XVI Choir.

Season highlights feature Elisse as a soprano soloist in Bach’s St. John Passion, BWV 245 with Voices of Ascension. They performed a series of Telemann Cantatas with Gotham Early Music Scene and joined Theotokos ensemble to perform Marc-Antoine Charpentier’s Leçon de Ténèbres du Mercredi Saint (H. 96-98). In 2022, they performed as a soloist and chorister in Kollective366’s renditions of Mozart’s Coronation Mass, K. 317, and Vesperes Solennes di Confessore, K. 339.
